Walking, sitting and washing may need adaptation while protecting the incisions. Follow the surgeon’s directions on movement and compression rather than remaining unnecessarily immobile. Ask how to keep wound folds clean and how to recognise a concern requiring assessment. The departure plan should account for wound status, mobility and travel risk, with local follow-up arranged when needed.
Avoid paying for a mismatched procedure
A shorter incision may not correct skin excess farther down the thigh. A lift does not promise cellulite removal or perfectly symmetrical legs. Weight changes can alter the contour afterward. An operation intended for the inner thigh should not be assumed to improve the outer thigh or buttock unless those regions are explicitly included.
