Small injection marks, temporary redness or bruising may be visible even when the appointment is brief. The response develops after treatment rather than being fully assessable at the chair. Follow the injector’s instructions about touching the area and activities, and arrange the appropriate review point. Do not add another clinic’s injections before the first clinician has assessed the response.
Prepare before the appointment
Bring the names, dates and treated areas of previous toxin injections, including any treatment performed at another clinic. List medicines and supplements without stopping prescribed treatment on your own. Agree on the product, the planned muscles and the review process before injection. If a short visit to Korea limits follow-up, discuss that before payment.

Bruising, discomfort, headache, unwanted weakness, asymmetry and drooping of nearby facial structures can occur. Rare effects can extend beyond the intended muscles. New difficulty breathing, swallowing or speaking requires urgent medical assessment. The injector should explain how to report an unwanted response and when an in-person examination is necessary.
Interpreting the result as tissues settle
The change is temporary and may not fully soften lines that remain when the face is relaxed. Treating more areas is not necessarily better. A smile, brow position or jaw contour can reflect several tissues, so an injection advertised for that region may address only part of the concern. Ask how the response will be judged before agreeing to future treatment.
