What changes the quotation?
Peel agent, depth and treated area
Single treatment versus a supervised course
Required skin preparation and aftercare products
Monitoring and follow-up for a deeper peel
Compare the same treatment scope
Superficial peel: Targets more superficial concerns; a course may be proposed and improvement may be modest.
Medium or deep peel: Creates a more substantial injury and requires a different risk discussion, recovery plan and clinical setting.
Non-peel skin treatment: Discuss whether topical care or another targeted procedure better fits the diagnosis and acceptable downtime.

Expected redness, flaking and wound-care needs vary with peel depth. Follow the prescribed cleansing, moisturizing and sun-protection plan; do not pull off peeling skin. Ask when makeup and active skin products may resume. Arrange a review if pain, redness or drainage worsens, and keep the visit flexible when the skin needs more healing before travel.
Avoid paying for a mismatched procedure
Peeling does not correct every scar, loose skin or deeper contour problem. Some plans use repeated superficial treatments and require ongoing skin care. More visible peeling does not prove a better result. Ask what improvement is realistic for the particular concern and which changes are unlikely to occur even after completing the proposed course.
