Laser course: A staged plan uses appropriate wavelengths and reassessment as the tattoo fades.
Fading for a cover-up: A limited goal may require a different endpoint than complete removal.
Other medical removal or observation: Selected tattoos may prompt a different discussion, including the scar trade-off of excision.

Care focuses on protecting the treated skin, following cleansing and dressing advice and allowing healing before another session. Redness, crusting or blistering can interfere with planned activities. Ask how to recognize infection or abnormal healing and when to request review. Treatment intervals should be based on skin recovery and response, not on the date of your return flight.
Avoid paying for a mismatched procedure
The number of sessions and final degree of fading cannot be promised from size alone. Some inks respond less readily and residual color or a skin outline may remain. A picosecond label does not guarantee complete removal or eliminate injury risk. Ask how the plan changes if progress slows rather than buying an unlimited result promise.
